This body of work embodies elements of inward reflection through the medium of photography. The camera acts as a tool to discover and contemplate the rhythmic interweaving of place and time and to create meaning within an often-chaotic world. The purpose of this autobiography is to create an emotional resonance for those who encounter the photographs and in turn, encourage a reflection period upon each viewer to contemplate their outlook on their surroundings.
This project has stemmed from a continual journey of contemplation and discovery. It depicts these constant interactions through an autobiographical context. The viewer is encouraged to engage in a certain rhythm of existing where each photograph becomes evidence of a fragmented stream of continual consciousness. Through these images we become connected to an intellectual and emotional sense of self and this deeper understanding allows to further establish a stronger association and appreciation for our broader, ubiquitous surroundings of the everyday.
